Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies our site uses, why, and why it shows no cookie banner.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a site you visit saves in your browser. This policy also covers similar technologies that store information in the browser, such as local storage.

Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party cookies; cookies set by another domain are third-party cookies.

Cookies we use

Our site uses only these cookies:

• NEXT_LOCALE: a first-party cookie. It is set only when you use the language switch, and it remembers your language when you come to the site's main address. It lasts one year, is set with SameSite=Lax and holds only the value tr or en.
• Admin session cookies: set only for team members who sign in to the admin panel; never set for visitors.

The chat window keeps two entries in your browser that are not cookies: vb-chat.lang (localStorage: the language you chose in the window, kept until you clear it) and vb-chat.opened (sessionStorage: stops the icon's attention animation for this session, deleted when the tab closes). Both are needed only for the window to work.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use these cookies:

• Analytics cookies.
• Advertising cookies.
• Social media cookies.
• Any other third-party cookies.

Our pages carry no video, map or social media embeds that set cookies.

If we measure visits, we do it without cookies: Vercel Web Analytics stores nothing on your device.

Why we do not ask for cookie consent

Under the Personal Data Protection Board's cookie guidance (Guide on Cookie Practices), cookies that are strictly necessary or set at the user's own request need no explicit consent; they rest on Article 5(2)(c) and (f) of the KVKK. Our site has only cookies of this kind, so we do not ask for cookie consent.

If we add a cookie that needs explicit consent, we first update this policy and bring an explicit consent notice with that cookie; such a cookie is never set before you give your explicit consent.

Managing cookies

You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting the NEXT_LOCALE cookie only resets your language choice; the site's main address opens in Turkish again.

Your personal data

The purposes and legal grounds for which we process your personal data, and your rights, are in the Privacy Notice.

Changes

We update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The date at the top of the page shows the last change.
